Playin Pinta

2004 Sorrel Mare
Playin Stylish - Payla Pinta, by Mr Sun O Lena
Playin Pinta exemplifies what the Angel Spurs Ranch looks for in it's performance mares. Not only does she possess fashionable and well proven cow-horse bloodlines, but she is a mare of size with plenty of substance and athleticism. Speed and added versatility has been injected through her second dam, a daughter of Runaway Winner and AAA-T producer of over $55,000+ on the track. Her third dam Winning Eyes, is a half sister to World Champion Special Leader, and A Watchful Eye (Dam of SCRUTINIZER S.I. 115 - $342,197). Fourth dam, Miss Eye Opener, is a full sister to Mr Eye Opener 8-Time Champion sire of earners in excess of $20 Million, and broodmare sire of $6 Million.

Playin Pinta should prove a versatile broodmare, with a unique and powerful bottom side capable of producing top cow horses, barrel and rope horses. We are very blessed and thankful to have this mare in production for us.

Bid In Roses

2004 Bay Roan Mare
Figure Four 555 - Bid Miss Bar, by Mr Bar Cent Bid
Bid In Roses is a unique addition to our breeding program.
Her sire Figure Four 555 is an own son of the Haythorn ranch's great sire, Figure Four Fritz, and out of a mare by Eddie Eighty. Bid In Roses get's a nice shot of speed through her damside from her grandsire Mr Bar Cent Bid, by Mr Bid Bar. Her second dam is an own daughter of Bird Man(TB), by the wonderful sire Good Bird(TB), and her third dam is by Rebel Cause.

Her combination of cowboy tested working lines on top, and speed via both Quarter and Thoroughbred sources on the bottom, and a bonus of roan color, make Bid In Roses well suited to the direction in which the Angel Spurs Ranch wishes to take it's breeding program.
